Pompey Sports and Education Foundation is pleased that their Extra Time Programme, designed for people over the age 60, is attracting good numbers at both venues in Milton and Buckland.
The New Age Kurling sessions run on Mondays at Buckland Community Centre at 10am until 11am and at Milton Village Hall at 2pm until 3pm.

Last week, PSEF held the first of three inter-centre competitions at Fratton Park which was joined by two former Pompey players, Pat Neil and Keith Blackburn, who joined in and gave a short talk to all the participants.
Pat seemed to really enjoy the event, and sent in an email praising the day.
“It was a real pleasure to join Paul Hardyman at Fratton Park last week in the Montgomery Lounge," he wrote. "Keith and I really enjoyed the exchanges – can’t believe we go back so far!
"It is flattering to think that anyone would be interested in a couple of oldies talking about their footballing days – but oh! how the game has changed since the 50s and 60s!
"Keith and I were impressed with the organisation of the session and the way the young leaders marshalled the teams for the fun competitions. It reminded me a bit of my teaching days!
"The fact that these Pompey Seniors seemed very pleased to be there proves the value of such opportunities. I particularly enjoyed the conversations I had with a number of those present, and I am sure I speak also for Keith.”
