Sam Magri has left Pompey to sign for QPR.
The 18-year-old defender has signed a two-year deal with the Premier League club.
Portsmouth-born Magri progressed through the Blues academy and made his only senior appearance in the Capital One Cup defeat at Plymouth earlier this month.
Pompey boss Michael Appleton said: “Sam’s in the last year of his contract and has been given the opportunity to join a Premier League club.
“There have been a few young players that have gone ahead of him in the pecking order.
“We wish him all the best, but I didn’t see him getting near my team this season. It’s a good move for all parties.”
