A young Pompey academy side drew 2-2 with Horndean at Five Heads Park.

 

The hosts took the lead midway through the first half, but a Pompey trialist equalised on 33 minutes.

 

James Jennings’ close-range finish saw the Blues take the lead moments later, with Horndean levelling the scores early in the second half.

 

Both sides made plenty of changes after the interval, but despite plenty of chances there were no more goals.
