Pompey’s under-10 side have returned victorious from the Credit Agricole Cup in Saumur, France.

 

The Blues missed out on qualifying for the ‘Champions League’ section of the draw on goal difference.

 

But they triumphed in the ‘Europa League’, winning their group and a semi-final before beating Parisian outfit CFFP on penalties in the final.

 

Assistant academy manager Ian Buckman said: “The lads performed well and Nick De Long, our coach out there, said they were a credit to Portsmouth Football Club.”
