Pompey Academy followed up their derby victory over Southampton with a friendly triumph against Bournemouth.
There were no goals in the first half of the match, which was held at Wessex League New Milton’s ground.
But the Blues took the lead on 53 minutes when a corner found Billy Tsovolos (pictured) virtually on the goal-line and the defender chested the ball into the net.
Lewis Stockford was then brought down in the box and picked himself up to convert the resulting penalty.
Bournemouth pulled a goal back with a spot-kick of their own. Alex Parsons scored after the referee had spotted a handball.
