Pompey have withdrawn Adam Webster from the England under-17 squad.

 

The Chichester-born 17-year-old defender had been selected by the Three Lions to play in a friendly tournament in Portugal.

 

But Webster has been a regular in recent Pompey squads and made two first-team appearances from the bench.

 

He made his debut in a home defeat against West Ham, before getting another chance in the 3-2 loss at Cardiff.
