Pompey in the Community and Jobsite workshops
Are you struggling to make your CV stand out? Do you never make it past the interview stage?
Never fear – there are people and organisations here to help.
Pompey in the Community and main club partner Jobsite are working together to deliver a free employability workshop, helping people from all walks of life into their next role.
It is all part of a new initiative that will see both organisations delivering a range of different workshops throughout the next 12 months to help people develop their careers.
Jobsite will be utilising their extensive team of experts to give participants the tools and necessary advice needed to ace job searches and career development.
The first of the workshops will be delivered from 10am-2pm this Wednesday (October 26) at the Pompey in the Community offices in Anson Road.
The session will cover a number of different topics, including:
- Getting your CV started
- CV myths debunked
- One-to-one advice on standing out
- How to ace an interview
- Mock interview sessions
Adam Lea, Pompey in the Community’s commercial and marketing manager, said: “Working with Jobsite on an employability programme is something that we are really excited about.
“As a community charity, having the support of Jobsite to reach out to the city of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas is something that we hope people will take full advantage of.”
