Online fashion retailer supporting young Blues
Newly-launched clothing company Mustryharder is the new sponsor of the Pompey’s junior Academy teams.
The London-based online retailer – which sells ladies and gents fashion – will have its logo on the front of the club’s academy shirts from under-9 to under-16 level for the next two years.
Co-founder Matt Cox lives locally and his son Finley plays for under-9s team.
He said: “This is Mustryharder’s first sponsorship deal since launching and Portsmouth’s academy is the perfect fit for our brand. It has been a pleasure getting to know the club staff as they are all extremely dedicated.
“The academy at Portsmouth has a real purpose and a number of first team players have come through the system. We are delighted to be part of the academy – it is inspirational.”
Pompey’s academy manager Mark Kelly added: “We are delighted with this deal. It is always a bonus when a local business sees the importance of supporting the academy.
“Our junior academy sides represent the club all over the south of England, so it is a great vehicle for this new brand to spread its name and build its reputation.”
