Large turn-out at Fratton Park
Pompey fans flocked to Fratton Park today to watch an open training session ahead of the new season.
Hundreds packed into the South Stand as Paul Cook and his coaching team put the players through their paces.
There were plenty of warm-up exercises and passing drills, while the goalkeepers – including new signing David Forde – worked away from the main group.
Everyone then came together for an 11 v 11 game, with one strike from Michael Smith drawing a ripple of applause from the crowd.
The fans then made their way to the Victory Lounge and were able to collect autographs from the players and management team.
