Club acquire land in Anson Road
Portsmouth Community Football Club Limited are delighted to announce the acquisition of 16 Anson Road, Portsmouth, PO4 8TB – formerly the industrial unit of the ‘Beneficial Foundation’ – on a long-term lease.
Pompey chief executive Mark Catlin explained: “Whatever the mid to long-term strategies of the club in terms of stadium ambitions, this unit and land it sits on, is strategically crucial to maximising all future club options moving forward at Fratton Park.
‘’The marriage value of acquiring adjacent land to Fratton Park is significant for our long-term development and the club will always look to act positively when an opportunity arises to enlarge and enhance our existing land footprint.”
