Striker moves to Kassam Stadium
David Connolly has joined Oxford on loan until the end of the season.
The 36-year-old striker has netted five goals in 20 appearances this term, last scoring in November’s FA Cup defeat at Stevenage.
Blues boss Richie Barker said: “This is a good opportunity for David to go out and get some more games and we wish him well.”
Connolly arrived at Fratton Park on a free transfer last January and the former Republic of Ireland international has played a total of 37 games for Pompey.
Oxford currently sit fifth in the League Two table and played out a goalless draw with the Blues at the Kassam Stadium earlier this month.
