Utility man joins Conference Premier side
Danny East has joined Aldershot on a one-month loan deal.
The versatile 23-year-old has yet to feature for the first team this season after being injured in pre-season.
Blues boss Andy Awford said: “Danny needs to play some games to complete his rehabilitation after a long time on the sidelines.
“It’s a chance for him to play regular football at a good club who are on our doorstep and perform at a decent level.
“The deal’s only for an initial month, so we’ll see how it works out and then go from there.”
East has made 19 appearances since joining Pompey on a free transfer from Hull in the summer of 2013, scoring the winning goal in last season’s victory at Northampton.
Aldershot currently sit 18th in the Conference Premier table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Lincoln.
