Pompey fans are being given the chance to create their own memorabilia – just in time for Christmas – thanks to a new online store.
The club has uploaded part of its photographic archive onto its pompeypress.co.uk site and supporters can now use the imagery to create bespoke gifts and items such as mugs, phone covers, jigsaws and key fobs, as well as high-quality prints and canvases.
Commercial and marketing manager Micah Hall said: “We are very excited by this new service and we think it will prove popular with fans.
“We have been running the site in a limited beta format for a few weeks and the feedback we have had is good.
“Fans can go to the site and browse the images, which feature all the games so far this season and an ever-growing archive of past pictures, and create exactly the memento they want.
“It is also the perfect way to create a unique Christmas gift for the Pompey fan in your life.”
The store concept is the brainchild of Pompey fan and photographer Matt Pantling, who has organised a team of volunteers to record life at Fratton Park on a matchday
Their content is featured on the site alongside that of club photographer Joe Pepler.
Matt said: “It's been a real privilege to be able to help the club in this way. The content we have is fantastic and this is a way in which we can use it for the pleasure of fans and create a new revenue stream for the club.”
Content is being added to the store all the time and fans should check back regularly for updates.
