Striker joins National League side

Matt Tubbs has joined Eastleigh on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old striker joins a side currently occupying a play-off spot in the National League table.

Tubbs moved to Pompey from Bournemouth at the start of 2015 and has scored 14 goals in 40 appearances.

But he was sidelined earlier in the season with an ankle problem and has not featured since a defeat at Notts County at the end of October.

Tubbs could make his Eastleigh debut tonight, as the Hampshire club travel to bottom-of-the-table Kidderminster.
