COOK URGES FANS TO SECURE THEIR SEAT

1 July 2015

Early bird deadline approaching

Fans are being urged to snap up their season tickets fast by new manager Paul Cook, as just three days remain until the early bird prices end on Saturday.

The new boss is currently in Portugal with the squad on a pre-season training camp, but took time out from the hectic schedule over there to encourage supporters to back the Blues.

Cook said: “Pompey fans are renowned for their passion and loyalty and I'd like to thank those who've already bought a season ticket, as well encourage anyone else who has still to make their mind up to make the commitment.

“There are some great deals on offer to early bird customers, making watching football at Fratton Park very affordable next season.

“And I can promise fans that the lads and my management team will be doing our level best to make next season a special one.”

Prices for adult season tickets start from just £300 and the ticket office is open from 10am-5pm on weekdays as well as from 11am-3pm this Saturday.

Any unclaimed seats will be released to all supporters, including new season ticket holders, from 10am on Wednesday, July 8.

Sales have been going well, with a significant proportion of new fans, who didn't have a season ticket last season, joining the ranks.

Last term the club ended up with just over 11,000 season ticket holders and are hoping they can at least match that number or go close.
