BETTING PREVIEW: POMPEY v LEYTON ORIENT

5 February 2016

Back the Blues with Sky Bet

Pompey will be looking forward to home comforts after victory was clawed from their grasp at Morecambe on Tuesday night.

And Paul Cook’s side are evens favourites with Sky Bet to shake off the disappointment by beating Leyton Orient.

The visitors – who would leapfrog the Blues with victory at Fratton Park – can be backed at 11/4, with the draw at 12/5.

Michael Smith is in line to make his home debut and is available at 11/2 to open the scoring against the Londoners.

Marc McNulty leads that market at 5/1, with Gareth Evans, Kyle Bennett and Adam Webster following at 6/1, 8/1 and 33/1 respectively.

Orient triumphed 3-2 in a bad-tempered Boxing Day clash in the capital and there are odds of 28/1 on Pompey gaining revenge by winning by the same scoreline.

Looking further ahead, the Blues’ are available at 4/5 to win promotion this term, with Kevin Nolan’s side at 11/2.

Please note that odds are subject to chance.
