Boss on manager shortlist
Paul Cook has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award.
He is up against AFC Wimbledon’s Neal Ardley, Accrington’s John Coleman and Cambridge’s Shaun Derry for the April prize.
Pompey won five of their seven matches during the month and confirmed their place in the play-offs.
There were victories over Carlisle (1-0), Dagenham & Redbridge (4-1), Wycombe (2-1), AFC Wimbledon (1-0) and Hartlepool (2-0).
The judging panel includes former Ipswich boss George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman, Football League chief operating officer Andy Williamson, League Managers’ Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet football trading manager Paul Lowery.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
