CLUB THANKS OUTGOING DIRECTOR

14 March 2015

Mick Williams leaves board

Following the decision of Mick Williams to resign as a PST board member, Portsmouth Football Club would like to thank him for his service to the club.

Chairman Iain McInnes said: “Mick can be extremely proud of the work he has put in to ensure Portsmouth FC will be around for generations to come.

“It has been a privilege to work with him, both to save the club in the first place and then, as a fellow director, to start the process of rebuilding it.”

Mick was one of the three Trust directors appointed to the board after the successful community buy-out of the club in April 2013.

Pompey chief executive Mark Catlin added: “I've worked closely with Mick now for two-and-a-half years and I would like to place on record, both personally and on behalf of the club, my thanks for the huge contribution he has made, first of all to save the club and subsequently to ensure it is now on a sound financial footing.”
