Blues sign Preston winger
Pompey have signed Lee Holmes on loan from Preston until early January.
The 27-year-old winger will wear the number 28 shirt during his time at Fratton Park.
Blues boss Andy Awford said: “Lee’s a good addition to our squad and we’re delighted that he’s signed.
“There are a lot of games coming up over the busy Christmas period, so we’re going to need a lot of bodies.
“He’s a great asset to have and we’d like to thank Preston for their help in getting the deal over the line.”
Former England under-19 international Holmes started his career at Derby and then had a spell at Southampton before signing for Preston in the summer of 2012.
