Cornell arrives for a month
Pompey have signed goalkeeper David Cornell on a one-month loan deal from Swansea.
The 23-year-old Welsh stopper – who will wear the number 27 shirt – has been brought in to provide cover, with Michael Poke currently sidelined.
Blues boss Andy Awford said: “We needed to bring in a keeper because Michael has been suffering with back spasms and we’re grateful to Swansea for lending us David.”
Cornell has made one senior appearance for the Swans and also spent time out on loan at Port Talbot, Hereford and St Mirren.
