Cobblers move for winger
Ricky Holmes has joined Northampton in a one-month loan deal.
The 27-year-old winger has made 17 appearances for Pompey this season, but has not featured in the last three matches.
Blues boss Andy Awford said: “Ricky is not in the side at the moment, but he needs to play football, so this is a move that suits all parties.
“The deal is only for an initial month, so we’ll see what happens at the end of that.”
Northampton currently sit 20th in the League Two table ahead of Saturday’s home clash with Southend.
