Test your accuracy alongside Blues squad



“The 11th man competition is a fantastic chance for one lucky fan to join the players at the end of a training session and not only represent their club, but test themselves against the professionals.

Ben Wilde, brand and sponsorship manager for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, said: “The Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge has enjoyed a successful two seasons and we are delighted to welcome it back for 2014/15.

The successful side will claim Johnstone’s Paint products to use on a redecoration project at one of their facilities.

Oxford and Fleetwood have been Paint Pot Challenge victors over the last seasons and Pompey will be joined by nine other clubs competing for the 2014/15 title.

A successful chip in is worth 10 points, while one point is accumulated each time the paint pot is hit.

The Paint Pot Challenge sees participants try to chip the ball from the angle of the penalty area into a giant inflatable paint pot placed on the six-yard line.

And one lucky Pompey fan will have the chance to join the 10 players and management staff selected for the challenge as the club’s ‘11th man’.

Andy Awford’s squad will put their skills to the test on Thursday, October 2, ahead of their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round tie with Northampton the following week.

The popular Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge has returned for a third season and the Blues are the second club to take part.

Pompey supporters are being given a unique opportunity to join the players for a footballing challenge – thanks to Johnstone’s Paint.
