Pompey fans begin incredible journey
The ‘Ride 2 Bury’ team have started their gruelling trek to Gigg Lane.
They set off from Fratton Park this morning and will travel 300 miles before arriving in time for Pompey’s final away match of the season.
The group of 20 Blues fans are raising funds for Naomi House children’s hospice, Southampton General Hospital and Brain Tumour research in memory of four-year-old Jack Robinson, who tragically lost his battle with an inoperable brain tumour earlier this month.
Some of the money they collect will also go towards more community shares in Pompey.
