England meet Scotland for the first time in 14 years at Wembley in August – and one lucky Pompey season ticket and a friend will be there as VIP guest of Blues chairman Iain McInnes.
All fans who have purchased a season ticket before the end of this month will be entered into a prize draw for two tickets – which have been provided by new club ticketing partner AudienceView – for the game on Wednesday, August 14.
Season ticket sales for the forthcoming League Two campaign have been very healthy, with more than 6,400 already snapped up.
Fans have until July 13 to take advantage of the full range of early bird discounts, but engagement manager Micah Hall thinks the competition should persuade fans who have yet to buy to do so now.
He said: “This is a prize well worth winning. The fixture is one of the oldest rivalries in football and to have the chance to see the game from the VIP seats is a chance not to be missed.”
And with his family roots north of the border, Portsmouth-born chairman Iain is keeping his cards close to his chest as to which side he will be supporting on the night.
He said: “In my time I have supported both England and Scotland when they play and I have a strong affinity with both nations.
“I am really looking forward to this occasion and it will be a pleasure to have a Pompey season ticket holder with me.”
