Hear what the defender has to say in Saturday's programme

Sonny Bradley is looking forward to experiencing the Fratton faithful at their finest.

Pompey open their League Two campaign against Oxford on Saturday, with fans quick to snap up tickets.

And Bradley is expecting an incredible atmosphere to greet the players when they emerge from the tunnel.

“It’s exciting that the time has finally come around,” says the defender in the official matchday magazine for Saturday’s match.

“It felt like there were 20,000 people inside the ground for the Charlton game and I’ve never experienced support like it, so I’m sure it’s going to be even louder on Saturday.

“The coaching staff have watched Oxford play and we’ll be ready – just like we will be for any side coming here this season.”

Issue two of our new-look programme is another packed edition, with a two-sided pull-out poster and collectable player cards among the great features.

Also in the perfect-bound 84-page publication, John Sullivan discusses his firsts and there are exclusive columns from Iain McIness, Guy Whittingham and Johnny Ertl.

We are also introducing augmented reality technology – courtesy of Blippar and Navigate Digital – to bring the programme to life. You can read more about that here.

Saturday’s programme is available to buy from programme sellers around Fratton Park and is priced just £3.
