Pompey fans can now buy their matchday programme in digital format to read on their iPad or iPhone.
And as a special trial offer, supporters can try out the service for free.
The club has teamed up with Matchday Digital – who already provide a digital programme service to a number of clubs – to start selling issues from this afternoon’s game with Newport at Fratton Park.
An individual issue is priced at £2.99, or fans can sign up for the whole season for just £44.99. In the near future, fans will also be able to buy back issues from the start of the season for just £1.99 each.
As a trial, to judge the quality of the service, the Oxford programme from the opening day of the season is now available to download for free.
To take advantage of the offer, fans should download the free Matchday Digital App from the iTunes store, find the Pompey section and follow the online instructions. Click here for more information.

“Fans who own an iPhone and attend the games will also see this as a positive. Now you can buy your matchday programme and read it without having to worry what to do with it while the game is on, knowing your digital programme collection is safe in the Cloud for browsing at your leisure.”
