Portsmouth-based company show their backing
The Milton End at Fratton Park will be officially sponsored by Portsmouth-based Industrial Maintenance Services Ltd (IMS) next season.
IMS provides hard facilities management services including the installation and maintenance of infrastructure, plant and machinery and the refurbishment of commercial and industrial facilities.
Pompey CEO Mark Catlin said: “This is a terrific sponsorship deal and we are really pleased to have IMS as a partner. This shows again the faith local business is showing in our new community football club.
“Over the summer there has been a programme of refurbishments at Fratton Park and we are sure fans will notice a big difference when they come to the first game of the season, not least in the new Milton End – officially sponsored by IMS – which looks fantastic.”
Ian Brown, Managing Director of IMS added: “We think it’s a great time for local business to get behind Portsmouth Football Club. It’s the biggest supporter-owned club in the country and is now being run by a competent and dedicated management team.
“There are plenty of Pompey fans among our employees, customers and suppliers. For the first time in years we are looking forward to the start of the season with renewed enthusiasm.”
