Harris scores but youthful Blues are beaten
A youthful Pompey XI were beaten 3-1 by their more experienced Salisbury counterparts at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
The Blues side was mostly made up of academy and development squad players, although Ryan Bird, Ashley Harris and Adam Webster all featured.
Salisbury took the lead after just six minutes when a corner bounced in off a Pompey player.
And former Bournemouth striker doubled their advantage just before the break with a far post header.
Dan Fitchett then grabbed a third in the second half after intercepting a wayward cross-field Pompey pass.
But it was the Blues who had the final say, with Harris smashing home a fine 25-yard free-kick after Nick Awford had been bundled to the ground.
