Blues Duo Start For England

29 May 2013

Webster and Wallace play in Three Lions victory

Adam Webster and Jed Wallace both started for England under-19s in a convincing 3-0 victory over Scotland in Belgium.

Defender Webster played the entire 90 minutes of the European Championship elite qualifying round tie.

His Pompey team-mate Wallace was on the pitch for 53 minutes before being replaced by Ben Pearson.

Shaquile Coulthirst, Lewis Baker and Chuba Akpom were all on target for Noel Blake’s Three Lions.

But it was not enough to see them qualify for this summer’s final, as Georgia topped the group after beating hosts Belgium.
