Vote for best strike of October
Ben Close and Bradley Tarbuck have been included in the shortlist for the League Football Education (LFE) October Goal of the Month award.
Pompey academy midfielder Close (pictured) has been selected for his stunning strike from distance in last month’s Youth Alliance Cup victory over AFC Wimbledon.
His team-mate Tarbuck was chosen for an amazing long-range volley in a Youth Alliance League defeat to Gillingham.
It caps a successful few weeks for Close, who was recently named one of LFE’s top 11 apprentices in the country.
