Defender selected in Player of the Month shortlist
Bondz N’Gala has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two October Player of the Month award.
The 24-year-old defender netted twice against Rochdale at the start of the month before grabbing the winner against Bury a fortnight later.
But he has also been a rock at the back, helping the Blues keep a clean sheet in both of those matches.
N’Gala will compete with Exeter’s Aaron Davies, Hartlepool’s Luke James and Dagenham & Redbridge’s Rhys Murphy for the award.
The winner – who will be announced on Friday – will be decided by a panel that includes Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman, Football League head of communications John Nagle, League Managers’ Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet head of football Paul Wiggins.
