Keeper signs from Bury
Pompey have signed goalkeeper Trevor Carson on a three-month loan from Bury.
The 25-year-old Northern Irishman has featured five times for the Shakers this season.
Blues boss Guy Whittingham said: “He played 45 times last season and has been a first team regular this year, so he’s up to speed and we’re delighted to be able to bring him here.”
Carson came through the ranks at Sunderland, where he spent time on loan at Chesterfield, Lincoln, Brentford, Hull and Bury.
He moved to Gigg Lane on a permanent deal after leaving the Black Cats in 2012 and has made a total of 67 appearances for the Shakers.
