A message from Pompey in the Community
Pompey in the Community (PitC) have been shortlisted in The News Community Cash Awards – and we need your help!
The projects receiving the highest number of votes will be awarded a lottery grant.
If successful, PitC will receive £27,000 to run healthy lifestyle and activity sessions in local schools, using Pompey as a motivational tool to get kids.
There are high levels of overweight and inactive children in our community and we want to help change this.
But we need your help.
Every day from September 16-28, The News will print a voting form. A different person needs to complete the form each day and send them to the Freepost address on the back or bring them to the Pompey Study Centre or Portsmouth FC before October 1.
If you can’t find enough people to complete them all, we’re sure we’ll be able to help, so just bring along the forms!
The more votes we receive, the more chance we have of receiving this vital funding. Votes must be on an original voucher, with photocopies not permitted.
