PST Launch New Website

17 February 2014

The place to go for all Pompey Supporters' Trust news

The Pompey Supporters’ Trust today launched their new website – www.pompeytrust.com

The new site has been built as a core component of the PST’s new communications strategy, with the build being overseen by local web development agency Apollo Media and project managed by PST head of communications John Kimbell.

Kimbell explained: “It was important that as the majority stakeholders in a club the size of Portsmouth, our website had a more professional feel to it.

“We are putting in place some measurable objectives to ensure the new site is doing what we want it do – which primarily is to act as an up-to-date resource for our members and the general public, as well as a platform for us to increase the number of new members and subsequently the revenue we generate.

“We’re delighted with the new site and are very grateful for all the help we’ve had.”

Pompey manager Richie Barker was one of the first to see the new site and added: “The new site looks brilliant – very professional.

“It’s a fantastic advert for the Supporters’ Trust and is a reflection of the hard work that the guys at the PST put in behind the scenes. I’ve had a quick look around the site and found it very easy to use.”

The new site has been developed to be visually appealing, easy to navigate, and function across a broad range of display resolutions, from desktop to mobile devices.

A bespoke content management system will be used to maintain the site and the PST are welcoming contributions to and comments about the site. Please email john.kimbell@pompeytrust.com if you are interested.
