Have your say on all things Pompey
Pompey have launched the biggest survey of fan attitudes in the club’s history to help shape future policy.
More than 100,000 fans on the club’s database have been e-mailed a special message inviting them to take part in the questionnaire, which covers the whole range of the supporter experience.
Pompey PR consultant Colin Farmery, who is co-ordinating the project, explained: “It is an in-depth survey which we hope as many fans as possible will complete.
“It takes between 10-20 minutes to fill in, depending on how much fans wish to comment, but we think they will feel this is time well spent. This is a great opportunity for them to tell us what they think.
“As a community club we don’t take our fan-base for granted and their views are important to us. The information we receive will be really useful in helping us understand fan priorities.
“While budgetary constraints may well mean we won’t be able to deliver the perfect world immediately – and I am sure fans won't agree completely on what that perfect world is either – the views we get will help us shape our medium and long-term policy, as well as giving us a feel for how we have done so far.
“We are 10 months into the new ownership model and this seemed a good time to evaluate our progress. We have been delighted with the response so far, but there's still time to take part.”
If fans check their inboxes and find they haven’t been sent the link to the survey, which was distributed from Saturday morning, they should e-mail survey@pompeyfc.co.uk to be sent a link.
The club has also created a printable version, which fans can fill out manually and return to Fan Survey 2014, Portsmouth FC, Fratton Park, Frogmore Road, Portsmouth, PO4 8RA. Click here to download it.
The survey closes at 11.45pm on Sunday, March 2.
