Midfielder joins Isthmian League club
George Branford has joined non-league Lewes on loan for a month.
The 19-year-old midfielder (pictured on the right with Jack Maloney) – a first-year professional – has yet to make a competitive senior appearance for Pompey.
But he did appear in the pre-season friendlies against Bognor and Braintree last summer.
Branford has already spent time on loan at AFC Totton this season, but will now link-up with Blues team-mate Jack Maloney at The Dripping Pan.
Lewes currently sit 11th in the Isthmian League Premier Division table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Lowestoft.
