Summer tournament for under-8s
Pompey in the Community are hosting a mini World Cup at PlayFootball (ROKO) on Sunday, June 15.
The event – in partnership with Richmond Motor Group and Hyundai – is for under-8s teams and will run from 11am until 4pm.
It costs £50 per team to enter with all proceeds going to Pompey in the Community.
Teams can contain a squad of nine (boys, girls or mixed) with six players on the pitch at any time and countries will be allocated by a ‘lucky dip’ at 11am.
The winners will receive £750 in kit sponsorship, while the runners-up get £250 in kit sponsorship donated by Richmond Motor Group.
Each team will also be given full Joma kits – in colours to represent their country – which they can keep (courtesy of Richmond Motor Group).
