All items should be delivered soon
Fans who donated to the Tifosy scheme to raise £250,000 for two new academy pitches, but who have yet to receive their reward, are asked to be patient as the campaign deals with the unprecedented numbers who contributed.
Since the campaign closed on August 15, the team handling the rewards has been working hard, but the number of supporters contributing has led to a few bottlenecks, especially with signed items.
“The campaign team is working flat out to clear the backlog and we hope to have fulfilled most of the signed item rewards by the end of September.
“The unprecedented success of the campaign, with more than 5,000 fans getting involved, has caused a few bottlenecks.
Colin Farmery, who has managed the project for the club, said: “We'd like to apologise for any delays, especially with some of the signed items. .hereFans with queries about specific rewards should check the Tifosy site update
The campaign raised £270,000 and work on the pitches is hoped to start in the new year to allow the pitches to be operational for the 2015/16 season.
“The majority of rewards have been distributed in a timely fashion, but if anyone has any other queries then they are more than welcome to get in touch with the campaign team.”
