Jayden Stockley comes into the Pompey side to face Reading in the Capital One Cup tonight.
The striker – who grabbed a last-gasp equaliser against Morecame at the weekend – is one of eight changes from the starting 11 that faced the Shrimps.
Paul Jones takes his place between the sticks, while Brandon Haunstrup and Adam Webster are named in the back four.
There are also starts for Danny Hollands, Ben Close, Adam McGurk and Conor Chaplin in midfield.
Matt Clarke, Kyle Bennett and Gareth Evans – who moves to right-back – are the only players to keep their places.
