Book your place at Cosham event

Pompey in the Community are holding a free football holiday course for all children aged 10-13 at Medina Primary School in Cosham on August 26 and 27 (10am-3pm).

They are working with South East Hampshire Community Outlook (SEHCO) to provide the course free of charge.

SEHCO are a small charity which support the development of residents’ groups and activities on social housing estates across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.

They have submitted a successful bid to Reaching Communities (Big Lottery Fund) for a five-year project to deliver youth engagement activities in Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport and Havant.

Since the launch of the ‘Step Forward’ project in June 2015, they are now in a position to deliver and support arts and sports activities to young people aged 10-18, as well as supporting existing projects that support this client group and are from a low income household.

The aim of the project is to deliver a wide range of purposeful activities that will enable young people to improve motivation, confidence, skills and future employability needs.

They are really excited to be working in partnership with Pompey in the Community to deliver this course free of charge to local young people.

Places must be booked in advance by calling (023) 9272 8899 or online here. We hope to see you there.
