Help select Pompey's nominees
To mark 10 years of the Football League Awards, The Football League and Football Manager have teamed up to find a ‘Team of the Decade’.
As part of the selection process, Pompey can nominate up to four players – one goalkeeper, one defender, one midfielder and one forward.
The judges will base their selection of the final 11 on the performances of players in Football League matches.
Blues fans can help decide which players – who must have represented the club (outside of the Premier League) during the last 10 seasons – are nominated.
Simply tweet @officialpompey with your choice of player (you can include one for each position) and the hashtag #PompeyDecade.
Alternatively, email your choice(s) to social@pompeyfc.co.uk with the subject ‘Pompey Decade’.
All nominations must be received by 11am on Wednesday, February 25.
The players that receive the most votes will then be put forward for consideration for inclusion in the Football Manager Team of the Decade for the 2015 Football League Awards.
The final team of 11 players will be announced at the annual awards ceremony at The Brewery, London on Sunday, April 19.
The shortlist for manager of the Team of the Decade will be decided with help from the Football Manager online community.
