Does your mum deserve a treat?
Is your mum your hero? Is your mum a big Pompey fan? Does she deserve a special treat for Mother’s Day?
Pompey in the Community and Covers have joined together to offer 10 special mums the opportunity to be mascots at the match against Luton on Saturday, March 14 – the day before Mothering Sunday.
We would like offspring of any age to write, in 100 words or fewer, why their Pompey-mad mum is special and why she deserves a treat.
Entries should include Mum’s name, address, contact phone number and Pompey shirt size. We also need the name of the person nominating their mum (and age if under 18). Please check that your mum is available to take part on the day.

Entries must be received by Monday, March 2 and will be judged by a panel of people from Pompey in the Community and event sponsors Covers.
The experience includes a Pompey shirt which the mums will be able to keep (personalised with MUM 1 on the back, two tickets (one for Mum and one for nominator), a gentle kick-about on the pitch while the players warm-up, a lap of honour around Fratton Park, walking out onto the pitch with the team and photographs of the day.
