Fratton gig proving popular
Fresh off the road from their 2014 arena tour, Madness are set to perform at Fratton Park on Saturday, June 6 as part of the UK’s Greatest Outdoor Tour Ever!
And the people of Portsmouth have responded in their thousands and bought tickets galore – making it the first venue on this tour to approach a sell-out.
Pompey chief executive Mark Catlin said: “We had been expecting a bumper turn-out, but even this exceeded our hopes!
“The people of Portsmouth can always be relied upon to support their local club and have shown us yet again why they are the best local supporters.
“It’s a privilege that Madness have decided to perform at Fratton Park and June 6 is going to be a night to remember.
“We urge anyone thinking of buying tickets to do so quickly, as if they leave it much longer they could well be disappointed.”
