Back the Blues with Sky Bet

Pompey will have to beat the odds if they are to claim victory against high-flying Shrewsbury on Saturday.

Andy Awford’s side are 9/4 with Sky Bet to recover from last week’s defeat at AFC Wimbledon by picking up all three points.

But the second-placed Shrews are 13/10 favourites, with the draw priced at 21/10.

Former Blues skipper Liam Lawrence bagged a brace against Oxford in their previous outing and is on offer at 12/1 to open the scoring at Fratton Park.

Matt Tubbs is the most fancied Blues player to net first at 5/1, while Ryan Taylor, Jed Wallace and Nyron Nosworthy are available at 13/2, 10/1 and 40/1 respectively.

Pompey won 3-1 the last time Shrewsbury visited the south coast for a League One clash in October 2012 and a repeat of that scoreline has odds of 28/1.

Please note that odds are subject to change.

Bet at and you could win the Sky Bet Transfer Fund of £250,000 for the club, as well as £5,000 for yourself.
