Striker interviewed in Luton programme
Ryan Taylor has more than doubled his goal tally for the season in the last few weeks.
A brace against Tranmere at Fratton Park and away efforts at Cambridge and Accrington took the total to seven.
His personal good form has coincided with Pompey’s climb up the League Two table.
And he is hoping to continue to find the back of the net on a regular basis until the end of the campaign.
“I wasn’t good enough earlier on – I’ve said that to myself and I’ve said it to the manager,” says Taylor in the official matchday magazine for Saturday’s clash with Luton.
“In the last few weeks I’ve got some goals and my all-round play has also been a lot better, so I’m looking to build on that and keep improving until the end of the season.
“It’s always a confidence booster to score, although first and foremost you have to make sure you do the job you’re asked to do for the team.”
