Blues to face League One side in August
Pompey will face League One side Gillingham as part of their pre-schedule.
Paul Cook’s side will travel to Priestfield for a friendly on Saturday, August 1 (3pm kick-off).
It is the first time the sides have met since a League Cup second round tie in September 2005.

The Gills finished 12th in the third tier last term and appointed former Pompey defender Justin Edinburgh as manager in February.
Friendlies against Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday, July 11 and Bognor Regis on Friday, July 17 have already been announced, while a Pompey XI will travel to Burnham on Tuesday, August 4.
