WALLACE MISSES OUT ON LEAGUE TWO AWARD

1 May 2015

Southend defender claims prize

Jed Wallace has missed out on the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award for April.

The 21-year-old midfielder was shortlisted after scoring three goals in six matches throughout the month.

But it was Southend's Adam Barrett who won the prize, with his boss Phil Brown claiming the manager award.

The judging panel included Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman, Football League head of communications John Nagle, League Managers’ Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet football trading manager Paul Lowery.
