Blues claim League Two prize
Pompey’s matchday magazine has been named the best in Sky Bet League Two by the Midlands Programme Club.
It was described as an ‘outstanding publication that stood out above all others’, with plenty of praise for the range of features, as well as the photography and design.
Historical articles like Pompey Gold were highlighted, while the opposition, academy and community sections were rated excellent.
Programme editor Neil Weld said: “We’re delighted to win this award and hope our fans also enjoy reading what we produce.
“It really is a team effort and we’re lucky enough to have some fantastic contributors and a very talented photographer.
“We also need to thank Andy and the team at The Graphic Design House for making the programme look so good, as well as our friends at Bishops Printers.”
Pompey’s award-winning 84-page matchday programme is available to buy from sellers around the ground before kick-off and is priced just £3.
