Club policy for North Stand car park
Portsmouth Football Club would like to clarify our policy on managing the limited parking situation on matchdays.
There are currently a maximum of 250 spaces in the car park behind the North Stand.
With the exception of a limited number of our corporate guests, who have purchased season tickets in advance, and places we are obliged to supply for match officials, media, visiting directors and sponsors, all other spaces – including those allocated for disabled supporters – are offered on a first come, first served basis at £5 per car.
We do realise there are many fans with valid reasons who, given an ideal situation, would be deserving of a reserved space.
The club consulted with Level Playing Field, who advise on disability access issues in sport, and they advised us that in these difficult circumstances, our ‘first come, first served’ policy is the most fair and reasonable.
Therefore, we would ask for your understanding of the situation and the fact we are doing everything possible to try to overcome it.
The club are currently negotiating to try to make some more spaces available later in the season and we will keep fans informed of any progress.
