Evans and Jones both start at Kassam Stadium
Gareth Evans returns to the Pompey starting 11 at Oxford this afternoon.
He replaces the injured Gary Roberts in one of two changes from the side that beat Oxford last Saturday.
Paul Jones comes in for Brian Murphy – who also has a knock – between the sticks, with teenage keeper Alex Bass on the bench.
